Privacy policy

This policy explains how personal data is used when you visit the M.AIR IT website or contact us about our services.

Who is responsible for your data?

Mateusz Rajter, operating under the M.AIR IT brand, is the controller of personal data related to this website and enquiries addressed to M.AIR IT.

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email: mateusz.rajter@mair-it.com.

Visiting the website

The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Delivering and protecting it involves processing technical request data, which may include your IP address, the requested address, request time, browser information and security events.

The purpose is to make the website available, diagnose faults and prevent abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable website — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The website does not offer visitor accounts, a contact form or a customer database. Its pages do not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts. The language is selected through the page address, not a stored preference.

Contact and enquiries

If you email us, we process the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, company and message, to answer your enquiry and discuss possible cooperation.

For general enquiries and contact with company representatives, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you request steps towards a contract to which you would personally be a party, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies.

Providing information in a message is voluntary, but we may be unable to answer without suitable contact details and a description of your enquiry. Please do not include sensitive personal data or confidential customer information in an initial message.

Service providers and external links

Data may be processed by Cloudflare as the hosting and security provider, and by email and IT service providers to the extent needed to handle correspondence. Data may also be disclosed to authorised bodies where required by law.

External links are ordinary links, not embedded tracking widgets. The destination service applies its own privacy rules. Opening an email link launches your email application; it does not send a message automatically.

Processing outside the European Economic Area

Cloudflare operates a global network and may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Its Data Processing Addendum describes the applicable transfer mechanisms, including standard contractual clauses and the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable. You can consult those safeguards below or contact us for more information.

How long is data kept?

Correspondence is kept for the time needed to handle the enquiry and agreed follow-up. Where specific information is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, it may be retained to the extent necessary until the applicable limitation period expires or the proceedings end. This is based on our legitimate interest in protecting our legal rights — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Technical data retention depends on the type of log and the settings of the Cloudflare services used. Security incidents may require relevant records to be kept for investigation and resolution. Contact us if you need information about the retention applicable to your data.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access to your data, correction, deletion or restriction of processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Data portability applies where processing is automated and based on consent or a contract.

If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. An ordinary enquiry does not require consent to marketing.

You may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland or another competent supervisory authority.

The website does not use visitor data for automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects, or for advertising profiling.

Cookies and similar technologies

When you save a choice in the cookie window, we store mair_cookie_preferences in your browser for 180 days. It records the notice version and your choice without a unique visitor identifier. Its purpose is to remember and respect your settings; the legal basis for any associated personal data is our legitimate interest in managing privacy choices — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You can reopen the window using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Optional analytics and advertising tools are not currently used, and today’s choice does not authorise future tools. Cloudflare security features may separately use technical cookies depending on the configuration and circumstances of a visit.
