Cookies and similar technologies

This page explains browser storage on the M.AIR IT website and the distinction between website functionality and hosting security.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of information a website can store in your browser and read on later requests. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage. Their purpose, not just their name, determines whether consent is needed.
What does this website use?
- After you save a cookie choice, the website sets mair_cookie_preferences to remember it for 180 days. It contains the notice version and your choice, not a unique visitor identifier. We do not use localStorage or sessionStorage.
- Switching between Polish and English changes the page address. It does not save a language preference on your device.
- The website pages do not include analytics scripts, advertising pixels or embedded social media widgets.
- The scrolling script only improves navigation between sections; it does not store visitor identifiers.
External links and email links do not load those services as embedded content. If you follow a link, the destination service or application applies its own privacy rules.
Cloudflare security cookies
Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. Depending on the security features enabled and the circumstances of a request, it may set technical cookies to distinguish legitimate traffic from abuse or remember a security check.
Cloudflare documents examples such as __cf_bm for bot protection and cf_clearance for security checks. These are examples of provider capabilities, not a statement that both cookies are always used on this website. Their occurrence and lifetime depend on the feature and its configuration.

Your choices in the cookie window
On your first visit to the homepage, a window offers “Accept all”, “Choose settings” and “Reject optional”. The website currently has no optional analytics or advertising tools, so all three choices keep those categories disabled. Accepting now does not authorise future tools.
The necessary preference cookie is saved only after you choose an option. It applies to Polish and English pages on the same hostname. You can change the choice using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Closing the window or pressing Escape does not record acceptance. If you delete the cookie, block its storage or return after it expires, the window appears again.
Cookies strictly necessary for communication or a service you request may be used without prior consent. The preference cookie remembers your requested choice. If optional tools are added, we will ask for a new choice before enabling them. Their rejection and withdrawal must remain available.
Security cookies issued by Cloudflare are managed by its protection services. This window does not disable those services or remove their cookies.
Your browser settings
You can inspect, delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking security cookies may cause additional verification requests or prevent access to some protected content. Browser settings are not treated as consent to optional tracking.
Personal data and contact
The absence of advertising cookies does not mean that no personal data is processed. Hosting may involve IP addresses and other request information. Our privacy policy explains the purposes, legal bases and your rights.
